The 7 Generations Africa Pan-African Engagement Series launches in East Africa in collaboration with the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA), marking the first in a continent-wide series that convenes families, investors, and partners to align purpose and capital for Africa’s sustainable prosperity. The reception will explore how family capital, when structured, governed, and purposefully deployed, can unlock new pathways for impact investing, blended finance, and sustainable prosperity across East Africa and beyond.

This intimate gathering will convene 40–50 guests, including African family principals, development finance institutions (DFIs), sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), and impact investors, united by a shared vision to align private capital with public purpose for Africa’s long-term prosperity.

The Kenya Climate Innovation Centre is hosting the Africa Climate Investment Summit from October 29th to 31st. This Summit convenes investors, innovators, policymakers, and global partners to accelerate green growth, unlock capital, and drive climate-smart solutions across the continent.

Marking ten years since its founding, the International Development Innovation Alliance (IDIA) convenes its Global Summit to reignite a shared commitment to innovation-driven development. Taking place during a time of global fragmentation and constrained resources, the Summit will bring together institutional leaders, policymakers, funders, and innovators to reaffirm the power of collective action in achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
